You'll receive notifications as soon as your artwork leaves our warehouse, with tracking details so you can follow its progress in real time. Shipping of Original Artworks
Rates
Within Canada
Shipping is FREE across Canada, except in very remote regions and northern territories (Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon). If you believe you may be located in a remote area, we encourage you to contact us via chat or email before placing your order to confirm the delivery fee (maximum CA$50).
At checkout, customers living in Canadian provinces will not be charged for shipping. However, if your address is identified as a remote region, you will receive an email within 24 hours with the applicable delivery fee. You may accept or decline this fee. If the amount (maximum CA$50) does not suit you, your order will be canceled or refunded.
For canvases over 36 inches: the artwork will be removed from its stretcher bars and shipped rolled in a tube. This method provides optimal protection during transport. The canvas is carefully removed from its stretcher, wrapped in acid-free materials, then rolled and shipped in a rigid tube. Upon arrival, the painting can be easily restretched by a local framer, a standard, common, and generally low-cost procedure.

Like all fine oil paintings, original artworks require special care and may need a few weeks to dry fully before being varnished. However, most paintings are prepared and shipped within one week of purchase. If your artwork requires additional studio time, you will be contacted directly to confirm an updated delivery timeline.

Delivery of art reproductions on paper (Art prints)
Each art print on paper is created on demand using archival materials of the highest quality. As a result, the usual lead time between purchase and delivery to your home is 6 to 10 days on average.
These reproductions should always be handled with clean, dry hands to avoid marks.

Receipt of your purchase
Please examine your artwork immediately upon arrival and notify us of any errors within 7 days of receipt. Returns are only offered for customers who receive an incorrect order. To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in the same condition you received it and in its original packaging. You will also need proof of purchase.
Original artwork and canvas prints are final sales. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding a specific item prior to purchase.
Damage observed
Original paintings and stretched canvas prints are carefully packaged with acid-free materials and secured with protective padding. All items are inspected and packaged with care to ensure your artwork is protected.
However, we cannot control the postal carrier's process. Veronica Belam is therefore not responsible for handling errors or failed deliveries by the shipping service and is not responsible for damage occurring after shipment.

Undelivered/Lost
If your package is marked as "Delivered" and you have not received it, check your confirmation email to make sure you have entered the correct shipping address. We cannot replace a print order free of charge if the address listed by the customer is incorrect, but we are happy to resend any package returned as undeliverable. In this case, you will be charged for the returned shipping costs. If the address is correct, please contact the shipping company directly. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do on our end, so we cannot directly resolve issues of missed delivery or package theft by malicious individuals.
Special care
Please ensure you keep your artwork in a safe place away from water, liquids, fire, etc. Also be sure to frame your paper prints behind glass to protect them from moisture.
